The project Cultivate your web, initiated by the CJE, is now in its fourth edition in 2025.

Based on the observation of a young person doing an internship in a non-profit organization who found the website outdated, this project aims to bring together young people interested in professions surrounding the web to build a new site for an organization in the region.

Philippe had the great pleasure of co-leading this digital collaboration program for four years already with Stéphanie Gagnon, project manager at the CJE. The program Cultivate your web allows him to share his passion for design and his nearly 25 years expertise in digital creation. The website is a pretext to allow young people to collaborate together, to teach them how to take into account the needs of the client, work with texts, images, etc.

The organization selected under the program receives a complete website, free of charge. Everyone wins: it allows Philippe to share his knowledge with young people who are about to enter the job market, and to help provide organizations in the region with an online showcase.

This project is promising both for young people and for the beneficiary organizations. The creation of a website often represents an investment of several thousand dollars, a considerable amount for many NPOs. This economy often allows them to invest in other projects or services.

Each cohort brings its share of challenges, achievements and especially pride on the part of young people to have been able to acquire knowledge while contributing positively to their community.
