Created specifically for the bike path project : La Piste cyclable en œuvres, the project Éléments : entre ciel et terre is a photographic composition of natural textures coming from the original image bank of the artist shoot in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. The project is a research on the structures present in the natural environment. Different soils, one on top of the other, illustrate geological stratums of the earth that progress from underneath and up to the sky. The elements photographed are integrated for their diversity of textures and colors. It is an opportunity for the artist to present an original and recent artwork specifically developped for the project. A way to root himself to the artistic community where he recently moved.

Read the article about this evening (French).
« Champs de vision » is an opportunity to prepare a new artistic production for 2010. This project will diversify my production by the exploration of collage on big format, and also the elaboration of an installation using a video projector. The subject of this project is the fields of the region of Vaudreuil-Soulanges that are transformed by the pressure of the economic development.
This bursary will also help created a show to present the result of this research.

See the proposal of the project.
The Canal des Soulanges bike path will host next summer banners presenting the artworks of artists and artisans of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region. It is becoming the biggest outdoors artshow in Canada. This project is developped by the artist group Autour de nous.
Last May 28, at the Pavillon Wilson in Coteau-du-Lac, was the vernissage of the 46 artists presenting their works . A great occasion for the mayors and business peoples of the region to buy the original artwork that will embellish the Canal-des-Soulanges bike path next summer.
